Three dated commercial buildings, built in the 1980’s were struggling to find A-listed tenants. I proposed a radical design that contrasted with the brutalist pre-cast concrete exterior by incorporating a glass walkway hovering over a pond, terminated at a striking glass facade that essentially connected all three buildings.
The pond acted as cooling element for tenants under the hot African sun, and was designed to integrate with the buildings chilled water HVAC system.
